Dean Sturridge

Sturridge started his career off playing for Derby County during the 1991 – 1992 league season. He spent the majority of his football career playing for the Rams and had a knack of scoring goals at the club. His pace while playing for the club was devastating and he helped Derby County gain promotion in to the premiership during his time at the club.

Paulo Wanchope

Wanchope came to England in the year 1996 as he signed for Derby County. At Derby he had a knack of scoring crucial goals for the club and went on to make many appearances while they were a premiership football club. He plays his international football for Costa Rica and was part of the Costa Rica side during the 2006 world cup finals. He scored two goals against Germany in the opening match of the competition.

Darryl Powell

Powell started his career off playing for Portsmouth during the 1988 – 1989 football season and soon established himself in the side. He moved to Derby County at the start of the 1995 – 1996 campaign and helped the club gain promotion in to the premier league at the end of the season. He was a reliable performer in the Rams midfield and helped Derby become a force in the premiership.
